ive had intentions of blogging many many times for e past few weeks.
but as usual, i didnt.
man.
now its almost 3 weeks e last time ive blogged.
hm.
these few weeks have been quite eventful.
let me recall some..
there was the mid-semester test week, climb on singapore, slack week [national day], carnival day at peirce and of course this week.
hmm..
the tests were okay.
the results were quite good.
i tried to put too much into my head right before PEEE test and i ended up getting 67 for it.
i was too confused in wht to do.
furthermore, it was a super ez paper.
i rly gotta do something abt this.
the rest were fine.
left out a small part in maths but got 90 and a half for it.
finished DE right on time and got 92.
completed structured programming theory early and checked once or twice and got 86.
probably failed my project 1 module.
screw that.
stupid lau hu li. [LHL - lau hong lian]
as for the structured programming lab tests - so far thr has been 3 - i had scored 100 for the latest one and got above 80 for the other two.
cant remember.
i think 90+.
though it might seem like i excelled my studies, these tests are only 5%-20% of the overall.
i still have to work hard for the 'finale' [mid-session tests] which is in abt 5 weeks time.
time flies.
Climb On! Singapore 2005.
took place at tampines central park.
this was quite a great experience for me.
its e first ever rock climbing competition tht ive joined.
i didnt perform well though.
coz it seems like ive always been playin arnd in the rock gym.
doing my own stuff.
my own personal interest in rock climbing.
however, the competition showed no signs of interest to me.
i wasnt turned on by majority of the things thr.
except for the exclusive dyno competition at the end of everything.
the final 5 who made it were all from SP.
and of course, the one who claimed e title of dyno king was none other than the defendg champion, taufiq.

heh.
many different types of people joined.
young and old, short and tall.
tertiary, secondary, primary, corporate.
and aft everything, i went with quite a big grp of climbers to haf dinner.
everyone cldnt decide whr to eat and so some went home while me, aloy and francis went to bk to eat.
while walkg to bk, saw huili and had a super short chat.
actually she was e one who saw me.
she had a rugby match and was thr [not bk but smwhr else] to have dinner.
took 72 to yck and thn took 76 back home.
it was close to twelve at tht time.
national day was like any other day.
except it was a public holiday.
okay.
it was like any other PUBLIC HOLIday.
went out with dale.
forgot whr.
nothing much happened for the rest of the week.
except for saturday.
thr was carnival at peirce.
not really much of a carnival.
went thr to play soccer but didnt.
the field was occupied by ruggers.
in the end, i stoned at the multi-purpose court.
sat at e steps in the sun.
major stonage.
missed it too much.
miss the times when i stoned and chilled in peirce after school with e dudes.
haizz.
saw her twice.
the 2nd was e last.
i knew i shld have approached her and at least say hi e first time i saw her.
e 2nd time was whn she was walkg out of sch.
damn i shld have said goodbye.
din think she saw me at all tho.
man im so indecisive.
coz im afraid of regrets.
aft tht, went to have lunch at thomson plaza bk and went to thomson cc to play basketball.
and also a lil rugby and soccer.
i played one match of street bball and another of full court aft which i got blisters on e soles of my feet.
played barefooted.
so i played with e rugby and soccer ball instead.
eemeng is alive!!
he needs a freaking haircut, man.
i think he shld haf gotten one by now.
we went to thomson plaza and thn to j8 to walk arnd.
thn went home.
this week was fine.
nothing much.
so far, the maximum number of pull ups i can do is 20.
target is 30+.
actually my target is as high as possible.
until i can do one-hand pull ups.
i haf this rock climbing senior who can do a one finger pull up.
ONE FINGER.
it was just now.
on one of the walls, thr was this tile called e pocket.
it was a one-finger pocket.
he poked his left middle finger in it and pulled himself up.
a one-finger pull up.
i din see it e first time.
another senior shouted at him saying he didnt see it and told him to do it again.
and he did it again.
it seemd like cartoon!
i mean, it almost looked fake!
and he flashed all the routes whn me and my other friends had difficulty doing them.
flashg means u climb e route once and complete it.
and he did it all statically.
me and my friends did mostly dynamically.
looking at him do the routes is juz great!
he's a model climber.
zaki, is my climbg idol.
hehh.
ive been playing with e campus board lately.
there's this inclined board at one corner of the rock gym.
it has wooden 'tiles' drilled on it.
pinchers and crimpers.
pincher tiles coz u pinch them.
i cant climb up using e crimpers yet.
im still weak.
i can nw climb to the top using e pinchers.
its a great achievement coz i used to only fumble aft trying to move from one tile to another.
campus is movement on e wall using only ur hands.
and i think only one hand on a tile at a time.
haaz.
i shld increase my maximum number of pull ups asap so tht i can challenge wei-loong.
muahaha.
kinda made a pact with him last yr.
tho i think he's probably forgotten abt it alrd.
heh.
oh well.
dont matter.
the challenge is not beating others but beating urself!
oh ya.
i bought a pair of climbing shoes.
five-ten anasazi.
$136.50.
woo.
lucky i had my parents to sponsor it.
whoa.
this has been a really long entry.
and it just gets longer.
i wrote her a letter.
had jean to help me pass it to her.
its her birthday tmr.
hm.
cant wait for her reply.

and the stupidest module EVER in the whole freaking poly,
-character development [CD]
CD is like CME.
plain stupid.
and ima fail it if i dont get sufficient CIP hours.
then ima have to retake.
screw it.
