rockmaster 12 is finally over.
a bit of a relief but still it was super.
i regretted handing over rockmaster to gary.
if i didnt, i wld have had a chance to make my own rockmaster.
then again, i wldnt have been able to make a rockmaster like what he had in mind.
im sure the kind of rockmaster he wanted was more grand but rockmaster XII was a success nonetheless.
i wont go into detail cuz theres just too much to say.
all of sprc was involved.
year 1s, year 2s, year 3s.
not forgetting the alumnis.
i had a great deal of fun.
seriously.
spendg nights w everyone.
workg together, cracking our brains to make things work.
testing/making awesome routes.
watching climbers from all around singapore compete.
no doubt many were stressed.
i understand the feeling.
however, i wasnt one of them.
i wasnt under stress.
it bugs me alot cuz im the president.
at least thts what i think i am.
was.
or whatever.
and all of it; i am to blame.
i dont recall what happened but i wasnt really involved in the initial stage of the MAKING of rockmaster.
rockmaster 12 had no essence of me when i was supposed to be in charge.
ok i can kick about all day about not being in charge.
its all too late to turn back.
ive more or less passed the baton.
its all my fault for being a lazy and irresponsible ass.
sorry wan and winson.
ive failed u guys but at least i made the right decision by handing rockmaster over to gary.
he did a great job, didnt he?
im not very useful am i.
so sad.
im not built for such responsibility or leadership.
one thing that i think i might be useful for is to train the year1s (and 2s).
not just to gather them up and conduct trainings but also to guide them during their climbs.
climbing is sharing.
i guess all i can do now is pass down all my experiences as a dedicated climber to the new climbing enthusiasts who are filling up half the rock gym nowadays.
and not forgetting to improve myself further for i still have much to learn.
my performance for rockmaster open wasnt too bad.
it was good actually.
quite good.
but not good enough.
i barely made it to the finals.
oh well.
give me one more year.
im going to win rockmaster 13.
watch for it people.
